We’re looking for a Staff Nurse to join the Pioneer Ward inpatients ward at Rochdale Infirmary.
As the Staff Nurse, working within our surgical Ward you will plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care for a variety of surgical specialities, including gynaecology, general surgery, trauma, neurosurgery, urology and other surgical specialities including ophthalmology.
You'll demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and to be accountable for own actions and contribute to the setting of clinical standards, policy and procedures and research-based care as part of a wide multidisciplinary team.
But that's not all! You'll also step into a mentoring role, guiding and supervising learners and unregistered staff—empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals. Your influence will be felt throughout the team as you share your expertise, provide invaluable teaching, and act as a dedicated named supervisor.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
