We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our dynamic team in September 2025. This is a full-time position; however, part-time applications will be considered for the right candidate. The role primarily focuses on delivering an engaging and inspiring music curriculum, with the potential to incorporate drama teaching responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons to pupils across the prep school.
* Foster a love of music through engaging and inspiring teaching methods.
* Organise and lead school performances, concerts, and musical events.
* Support and nurture pupils' musical talents through extracurricular clubs and activities.
* Assist senior pupils with scholarship preparation.
* Collaborate with peripatetic teachers to enhance the delivery of music lessons.
* Work closely with colleagues to integrate music into the broader school curriculum.
* Potentially teach drama lessons, depending on the applicant's experience and interests.
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold relevant teaching qualifications and possess experience in music education.
* Be an enthusiastic and skilled musician with a passion for inspiring young learners.
* Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
* Exhibit strong organisational and communication skills.
