Working for Eurofins Food Safety Solutions sales team the purpose of this post is to generate profitable new sales through actively engaging clients using a variety of sales techniques including marketing campaigns to exceed new business targets.
This is a permanent homebased role, candidates can be based anywhere in the UK but will be required to travel to the Wolverhampton site around four times per year for meetings.
The hours for this role are working 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 09:00 till 17:00.
To sell the company’s services and products to ensure the achievement of targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and overall business objectives.
To generate prospects, follow up leads, attend sales meetings, generate quotes and conversion of quotes into new business.
Dealing with customers (Teams, Email, Telephone and Face to Face).
Giving excellent customer service and sound product advice.
Taking a proactive approach to Assurance sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale.
To ensure that the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and any other systems utilised by the company are maintained with up to date information.
To input into the development of the company's sales and marketing strategies, in identifying market sectors, new business opportunities and threats to the business.
To work closely with the Marketing Team on developing and delivering marketing initiatives to generate new business via social media, Mail shots and collateral materials.
Perform cost-benefit and gap analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs and grow the business.
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Meeting sales goals and objectives as agreed with your Line Manager.
Lead qualifying and cold calling businesses.
Following up with businesses on quotes.
Upholding the Company’s integrity and image to all customers and potential customers.
Demonstrating the Company’s Core Values at all times.
To undertake such other duties as may be commensurate with the post.
Qualifications
Industry experience, ideally within assurance.
Experience of working in one of the following fields - food assurance, food, food manufacturing, food retail.
Proven sales ability.
Excellent business and industry acumen.
Able to present complex information face to face.
Tenacious and target driven.
Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
Committed to customer care.
Adaptable and able to sell into diverse customer base.
Proven experience in working to and exceeding targets.
