JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor
Job Duties:
* Provide one-to-one support and tailored learning strategies for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Develop individualised education plans based on students' specific requirements and learning styles
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic and personal development
* Assess students' progress, adjust teaching methods accordingly, and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience working with students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
Working Conditions:
Flexible working hours, may require travel to different locations within Oxfordshire

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
