Role Description: Lead and oversee all technical aspects of data centre projects, from design through completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards. Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and construction teams to integrate technical requirements, focusing on building services and efficient system installations. Manage the project budget, including monitoring costs, procurement, and resource allocation to meet financial and operational targets. Serve as a primary point of contact for technical issues, troubleshooting, and resolution, ensuring minimal project disruption and optimized performance. Conduct regular project reviews and assessments to track progress, identify risks, and implement necessary adjustments to maintain project milestones. Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to communicate project status, technical details, and any required adjustments to align expectations. Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards specific to data centre infrastructure and operations. Build and mentor a strong technical team, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a collaborative, problem-solving work environment. Requirements: Must have UK consultancy experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related technical field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred. Must have experience in project management within the real estate, construction, or data centre sectors, with a strong technical background in building services. Proven expertise in managing complex, large-scale projects, particularly data centres or high-tech facilities. Strong knowledge of building services, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, with the ability to oversee technical installations and troubleshoot effectively. Excellent financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and procurement for technical projects. Familiarity with regulatory, safety, and compliance standards specific to data centres and large infrastructure projects. Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and manage relationships with stakeholders. Exceptional organizational and communication abilities to coordinate with technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
