Belmont Recruitment are currently looking to speak with Substance Misuse/D&A/Recovery Workers to work within Rough Sleepers drug & alcohol service in Manchester.
Within this role, you will be required to provide community-based engagement, assessment, and brief interventions to service users with substance misuse needs. The post holder will be part of the RSDA Team and will work alongside council staff, Rough Sleeper Initiative, Housing First Dual Diagnosis Practitioners, police, and homeless outreach workers, providing support to rough sleepers both through drop-in clinics at day centres or directly on the street whilst working alongside outreach workers.
Additionally, you will be required to case manage a small caseload of identified service users with substance misuse problems, keeping them fully informed of the range of services, support available to them, and the choices they have. You will ensure that they are involved in developing realistic recovery plans and facilitating access to clinical, psychosocial, health, housing interventions, and other services in their own communities.
The role is based within M1, and the core hours of the post are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm; however, you may be required to participate in flexible working to respond to the needs of the homeless.
Pay rate for this position is between £18.00 to £21.00 per hour depending on experience.

You will need to have worked within Drug and Alcohol settings/charities and managed caseloads to be considered for this post.
