The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Hub IT Service Manager to join our dedicated IT department and manage a group of first line IT Technicians within the following hub of schools: Lord Derby Academy, Huyton, Knowsley Park View Academy, Huyton, Knowsley Blacklow Brow Primary, Huyton, Knowsley Dean Trust Wigan, Wigan Dean Trust Rose Bridge, Wigan The main purpose of the role is to manage the IT Technicians within their hub to deliver hub wide IT projects, system improvements and training. The role will involve providing proactive and reactive hardware, software and peripheral support to all staff, students, Trustees/Governors, visitors and third parties in line with school/academy and Trust requirements. The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience working in an ICT helpdesk/ICT support role, ideally in an education establishment and understand the diverse and wide range of tasks that are involved with supporting teaching staff, administrative staff and pupils. Detailed knowledge of the latest Microsoft Windows Operating Systems & Microsoft Office packages is essential including the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of hardware and software issues.
