Mayes Business Partnership in Accrington are recruiting for an Apprentice Admin Assistant. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 3 Business apprenticeship over the duration of 18 months.
Job description:
• Opening, scanning and distribution of the company post.
• Typing up various correspondence, ie. letters, invoices, direct debit notifications.
• Uploading documents ie accounts, tax returns etc to a secure client portal.
• Chasing up debtors.
• Answering and fielding day to day calls as well as making client appointments for meetings with the directors of the company.
• Making refreshments for clients and directors in meetings ie tea, coffee etc.
• Collating and logging post out - highly critical to the office that this is checked thoroughly due to the sensitive nature of the documents. Liaising with the senior administration team to fulfil this task.
• Binding accounts and tax documents to be sent to clients.
• Franking post and updating and topping up the franking machine as necessary.
• Shredding sensitive information and discarding of correctly.
• Maintaining total confidentiality within the role and not disclosing any information outside of work to third parties.
• Working on a central database updating information where necessary.
• Texting clients to remind them for meetings etc.

Hours:
Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00 (45 min un paid lunch, 60 min on Friday) 36 hours per week.
