We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Projects Manager (Mechanical Design) to join our client who provides first-class project engineering services, focusing on process handling, equipment, and installations. In this role, you will be involved in various stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring all projects are managed safely and professionally.

Project Manager (Mechanical Design) - The Role:
1. Interpret customer requirements and liaise with the Commercial Director to create quotations and tenders.
2. Oversee the planning, implementation, and execution of projects, including producing project plans.
3. Conduct site surveys, take measurements, and gather information to produce drawings.
4. Produce and update General Arrangement and Detail drawings throughout all stages of a project.
5. Control contract/project costs and budgets.
6. Visit customer sites to provide technical support.
7. Ensure contracts/projects are completed to customer requirements and expectations.
Project Manager (Mechanical Design) - The Person:
1. Ideally a background in Mechanical Design for bespoke machinery.
2. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD.
3. Experience in producing feasibility study documents and other related design documentation.
4. Ability to specify sub-contract work and supervise sub-contracted site work on customer's behalf.
5. Experience in collating information to assist with producing installation manuals for clients.
6. Commitment to personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
