Children’s Health Care Support Worker Assessment Day

The event is designed around the role you are applying for. You'll take part in a number of exercises & activities on the day, both individually & together with other candidates.
The Assessment will include:
1. Scenario-based group assessment
2. Scenario-based written assessment
3. Individual interviews
The assessment should take up to 2 hours.

This post requires the successful candidate to travel during work out of hours in the evenings and throughout the night when public transport is not available. You would therefore require a driving licence and access to a vehicle to meet the requirements of the role, or alternatively evidence how you are able to travel as required to meet the needs of the service.
The Children’s Packages of Care team (CPOC) cares for children with very complex needs in the community, which could be at home, in school, or out in the community. Shift patterns include working day shifts, night shifts, and weekends.
You will be working for LSCFT’s Clinical Team of the Year, 2023. We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic people to join our team due to expansion within the service.
The ideal candidates will have experience in a health care, social care, or education setting working with children. An NVQ3 in care or equivalent care experience is desired; however, full training will be given.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in care or equivalent experience
* A willingness to undertake further study
* Good general education including GCSE in English Language or equivalent
