Working within our Commercial Motor Claims Team you'll be answering calls from our customers and Third Parties reporting their motor claims. The types of claims typically received in the department are; accident claims, personal injury claims as a result of a road traffic accident and even property damage due to collisions. Working Hours & Shift Pattern: Full time, 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with no weekend work required Our team in Haverhill town centre consists of around 200 staff and we’re proud of our close-knit team which provides a warm and friendly atmosphere. Induction: Induction Date: Monday 10th March 2025 You’ll have a structured training programme with one of our specialist trainers, which will be delivered on-site at our Haverhill office for 12 weeks. Following your training and once you are more competent in the role, you’ll then move to a more hybrid way of working between home and the office. What you’ll be doing: Answering calls from our customers and Third Parties reporting their motor claims. Ensuring each customer feels valued and supported with their claim, providing them with personalised and accurate information based on your expertise and training. Managing your own caseload. Working collaboratively as a team to achieve objective. Accurately inputting member information into our systems. Great listener who is confident in interacting with customers and building relationships over the phone. The ability to look at situations uniquely and solve problems with a positive, can-do attitude. Contributor to a collaborative team. Computer literate, you’ll be trained on our insurance-specific software packages as part of your training programme. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
