Job Overview:
The Production Engineer Must be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of machinery and equipment. Ensure that all machinery and equipment are operating efficiently, regularly inspected, and maintained according to specified guidelines. Achieve production targets as outlined in the daily/weekly manufacturing plan.
Key Responsibilities:
* The Production Engineer must maintain all equipment in a safe, reliable condition.
* Conduct and document periodic Preventive Maintenance (PPM) checks assigned and within your competence.
* Perform mechanical, electrical, and setting tasks within the factory, including work in any unit as required, within the scope of your abilities.
* Assist in training other Production Technicians and participate in any necessary training to enhance your skill set.
* The Production Engineer must adhere to safe working practices and comply with departmental rules and regulations at all times.
* The Production Engineer must manage and control all machine settings.
* Report to Management any incidents or potential issues that could lead to a breakdown.
* Set equipment to required standards, ensuring optimal conditions for cycle times and quality standards.
* Minimize material waste.
* Ensure all relevant procedures are performed in compliance with the company’s ISO 9001 certification
