Role Overview
This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of the firm’s Private Client department. Whether you are looking for a stable and rewarding role managing a well-organised caseload or have ambitions to progress to Director level, the firm is open to supporting your career aspirations.
You will manage a broad range of Private Client matters while having the autonomy to shape the department. The firm offers flexible hybrid working, with only one to two days per week required in their central Bristol office.
Key Responsibilities
* Wills and Estate Planning – Advising clients and drafting tailored wills.
* Probate and Estate Administration – Managing estate distribution and acting as an Executor where necessary.
* Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) – Drafting and advising on LPAs.
* Court of Protection Matters – Supporting arrangements for vulnerable individuals.
* Business Development – Grow and expand the firm’s Private Client offering if desired.
Skills and Experience
* Qualified Solicitor with expertise in Wills, Probate, and Estate Planning (STEP qualification advantageous).
* Ability to independently manage a caseload.
* Strong business development skills if seeking progression.
* Excellent client care and communication skills.
