We are now looking for a Senior Planner to join our Buildings team to manage the production of fully integrated programmes, phase sequence plans and method statements from bid stage through construction to final commissioning, handover and occupation together with the monitoring and reporting against such control documents, all in line with bid and project requirements including MEP service installations and commissioning..
You’ll:
1. Manage the overall planning process, maintaining a proactive and professional service to the planning, bid and project teams working to the guidelines of the planning and programming strategic plan.
2. Manage the bid and project planning / programming strategic plan and support the delivery team in collaborative planning activities, such as short-medium term plans and last planner activities.
3. Assist the management team in preparation of method statements to meet the needs of the project
4. Manage the delivery and maintenance of all associated programmes as required by the bid and project planning and programming strategic plan - Including as a minimum, the Master Integrated Programme and short-medium term planning programmes, including Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Handover Programmes
5. Ensure contractual and change management programme related aspects are fully complied with including preparation of any time entitlement documentation
6. Support the production of 4D programmes and visualisations, to produce digital rehearsals for key and/or critical areas of the works.
We’re looking for:
7. Demonstrable experience of delivering the planning function on MOD/DIO projects working through bid, PCSA and delivery stages.
8. Clear understanding of and demonstrable experience of working with the MOD/DIO in secure environments,
9. Demonstrable experience and working knowledge of NEC 3 or 4 contracts on MOD/DIO projects.
10. Demonstrable experience of other forms of contract including MPTC and JCT would be highly desirable.
11. Excellent working knowledge of Planning Software (Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera)
