We are looking for an inspiring Nursery Manager to lead our vibrant setting and make a real difference in young lives. Bright Horizons Bishopbriggs is located in the heart of the community, our nursery provides high-quality early learning and childcare for 113 children, supported by a dedicated team of over 30 practitioners. Our recently refurbished garden offers endless opportunities for outdoor exploration, while strong links with the local community enrich children's learning experiences. As Nursery Manager, you will:
* Lead and inspire a passionate team to deliver outstanding care and education.
* Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, holding overall responsibility for the day to day operations to ensure a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
* Create a supportive and collaborative working environment. Role model and mentor your nursery team to ensure the highest quality early childhood practice and experience for all children, including children with special education needs and/or disabilities.
* Build strong partnerships with parents, encouraging their involvement through parents evenings and community events.
* Manage the nursery's performance, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to all regulatory standards.
* Work in partnership with the local authority.
* Work with the Regional Director, Finance and Marketing teams to identify and implement commercial plans and strategies to deliver FTE growth within the nursery
* Commercial delivery of the nursery performance, optimising revenue generation and cost efficiency in line with staff ratio requirements, to deliver and exceed the annual budgeted EBITDA

* Proven leadership experience within an early years setting and experience of developing high performance teams, with effective regulatory compliance,
* Passion for child development, delivering high-quality education, quality improvement and delivery of high quality pedagogy.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
* Strong people-management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a large team. through excellent communication and operational abilities.
* A commitment to building strong trusting relationships with children, families, community and external partners.
* Confident decision maker, with ability to support change and the understanding of the complex relationship between business/commerce and service excellence within a regulated setting
