Description
Accounts Assistant - Woking
* Invoice Preparation & Issuance:
o Generate accurate and timely invoices and posting of shipments in Business central based on sales orders.
o Ensure all billing data is correct, including pricing, discounts, taxes, and payment terms.
o Address any discrepancies in billing or payment terms.
* Reconciliation:
o Reconcile invoices against sales orders, shipments and inbounds from our warehouse.
o Investigate discrepancies between billed amounts and payments, resolving issues promptly.
* Customer Communication:
o Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding billing inquiries, disputes, or payment issues.
o Resolve customer billing issues professionally and ensure clear communication regarding payment terms and invoice details.
o Follow up on overdue payments and assist with collections when necessary.
* Reporting & Documentation:
o Prepare detailed reports on invoicing.
o Provide recommendations to improve billing efficiency and reduce errors.
o Assist in monthly and year-end financial closing processes.
* Compliance and Policies:
o Adhere to company policies, accounting principles, and legal requirements related to billing and accounts receivable.
o Ensure timely and accurate reporting for financial audits.
* Collaboration:
o Work closely with the sales, customer fulfilment, and logistics teams to ensure smooth billing and collections processes.
* Billing Process Improvement:
o Continuously assess and improve billing systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
o Suggest and implement automation tools to enhance the billing process.
