Overview
Advanced Resource Managers (ARM) is a world-leading nuclear client based out of Sellafield, where we are currently recruiting an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our team. This role is working on the Box Encapsulation Plant project, one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site.
The plant will play a vital role in Sellafield's clean-up programme by encasing nuclear waste recovered from the sites original waste plants in concrete, allowing it to be stored safely. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will contribute to the successful delivery of this project.
Responsibilities
* To ensure safety is the highest priority on the project, with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. You will be a role model for all aspects of safety, taking a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional and environmental safety.
* To carry out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning, contributing to the production of test documentation.
* To contribute to the initiation and implementation of FOBs and TQs, performing testing activities for witnessing by third parties.
* To apply and remove Temporary Commissioning Aids.
Requirements
* You will have time served or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline, such as piping or electrical.
* A preference for ONC or equivalent qualifications or a route to achieve them.
* Project commissioning experience is essential.
