Utility Bidder is a leading energy consultancy focused on helping businesses secure the best energy deals while reducing costs. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate HR Advisor to join our team based in our Spinningfields offices in the heart of Manchester.
As an HR Advisor at Utility Bidder, you will play a key role in supporting our people operations, providing guidance and support to management and employees, and ensuring a positive work environment. You will be responsible for supporting recruitment, implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and supporting staff development and wellbeing initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
1. Provide HR advice and support to management and employees on various HR matters
2. Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth integration for new hires
3. Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
4. Manage employee relations issues, resolving conflicts and providing solutions
5. Conduct training sessions to enhance employee skills and knowledge
6. Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives
7. Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
8. Ensure up to date knowledge of employment legislation

Minimum Requirements
1. Proven experience in an HR advisory or generalist role
2. Knowledge of recruitment, applicant tracking systems (Workable), and onboarding
3. Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to build relationships and manage employee relations
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
7. Confident in providing guidance and support to managers and employees
8. Relevant HR qualifications (CIPD or equivalent) would be advantageous
