We are currently looking for an experienced Distribution Coordinator to join our friendly team based from Tarmac’s Hub close to Birmingham Airport in the West Midlands, the focus of this role will be Tarmac’s part of one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects. This role is commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, Sutton Coldfield, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Hinkley, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Stourbridge, Oldbury, West Bromwich, Walsall, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Lichfield, Aldridge, Willenhall, Kenilworth, Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa and the surrounding areas.
This is a Part-Time position where your standard hours of work will be 09:00 – 14:30

Role Responsibility
You as a Distribution Coordinator will work cross-functionally within our HS2 Team; this will primarily include the day-to-day communications with our customers to provide the ‘face’ of Tarmac.
Your role as a Distribution Coordinator will include (not exhaustive):
1. Ensure ownership on all your customer relationships, via telephone and email, this will be with our customers, suppliers and local teams; including drivers
2. Ensure you are providing each and every contact with an enjoyable service experience, by providing a high level of customer care and attention at all times
3. Complete data entry and processing; you will maintain data entry protocols and carefully record other information throughout your day
4. Collaborate within the team to clarify facts, exchange information, or resolve enquiries and issues
5. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business you're working for by identifying and taking ownership of opportunities for improvement to the processes you use, the services you will provide and the values you can add to the business
6. Input of accurate customer data into the CRM system
7. Accurately process all order information and respond positively and confidently to our customers' requests, scheduling and planning to ensure timely delivery of orders agreed with our customers optimising cost through effective planning
8. Liaise and communicate regularly with all relevant internal departments including but not limited to, Finance, Depot and Purchasing
9. As a Distribution Coordinator, you will be developing and demonstrating industry-leading product knowledge which will help you to attain and proactively keep abreast of new trends/products in the market by attending product and vendor training, researching and even self-study
This is a Part-Time position where your standard hours of work will be 09:00 – 14:30 Monday - Friday with Saturday AM (Saturday is worked from home) worked on scheduled rotation, the role; upon completion of successful training will also have the potential to have an element of hybrid working.
