Data Assurance Senior Analyst
Here's what you'll be doing
npower Business Solutions (nBS) is the E.ON UK Industrial and Commercial (I&C) pillar and a market leader in the B2B energy retail sector. I&C is a £7 billion revenue business serving c20,000 customers and approximately 200,000 meter points.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Assurance Senior Analyst to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract basis. For this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of Industrial & Commercial (I&C) compliance targets related to metering performance. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) 2 days per week.
Key responsibilities
* Understand the complex elements of industry data processes and how these can impact our performance.
* Ensure team processes comply with industry standard Balanced Score Card (BSC) and Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) Agreed Processes, Balancing and Settlement Code Panels (BSCP's) and Guaranteed Standard of Performance (GSoP).
* Identify and clearly communicate issues, risks and opportunities.
* Support the team to enable them to manage metering exceptions.
* Matrix-manage relationships across other areas (Agents, Sales) to deliver full compliance.
* Support team members through the timely action of process escalations, deliver process training, clear responses to the customer on the next steps required to fully resolve a metering issue, providing a prompt resolution for customer queries.
* Demonstrate role model behaviours working with colleagues across I&C to optimise business performance and stakeholder feedback.
* Support the team's Operational Managers in delivering the teams elements of I&C's Vision and Operations Purpose.
* Produce improvements in the quality of data inputs to team processes, evidence of addressing root causes.
What we need from you
* Detailed knowledge of the UK Energy Industry and operating processes including metering, billing and settlements.
* The ability to manage multiple stakeholders to ensure customer and operational excellence.
* Experience of negotiating and managing external agents.
* The ability to analyse and interpret complex data and to provide clear commentary in order to enable effective business decision making.
