Job overview
The Population Health Intelligence Specialist will play an important role in ensuring we use all of the data at our disposal to fully understand our population to tailor services and interventions for the best possible outcomes.
The postholder would have a strong analytical background and good technical skills allied with a good knowledge and understanding of primary and community data sets.
Main duties of the job
1. Support ICB Primary and Community Care leaders by generating required intelligence to underpin delivery of key priorities.
2. Develop and deliver analysis to support understanding of the populations served by different subsets of the BSW system.
3. Provide analysis and support to Primary and Community Care with interventions developed to improve outcomes.
4. Support the design of key performance indicators to monitor improvements.
5. Provide detailed, accurate analysis utilising a range of performance, contracting, and publicly available datasets.
6. Undertake data analytics to support the PHM strategy.
7. Develop and implement effective methods of communication with stakeholders to present highly complex information.
8. Deliver analysis and interactive reporting solutions using Power BI and other appropriate technologies.
