About the Team
Diageo's Beer Category brews and packages 7.6mHls of beer at 3 sites across Ireland and the UK. The Supply Chain Planning team interprets demand signals from Domestic and Export Markets and translates these into supply, replenishment, and scheduled production plans, aiming to optimise customer service, inventory, capacity, and cost.
Purpose of the Role
This role is a vital link between Plan, Source, Make, and Move functions to enable delivery of supply and scheduled production plans that meet business and customer needs. This will be delivered via highly developed partnerships and adopting an Integrated Business Management approach.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Operate a zero tolerance safety culture in all aspects of the business.
* Build excellent relationships with internal and external contacts.
* Ensure that supply chain planning initiatives are customer-focused and deliver/exceed our Customer Service Performance Promise.
* Understand the Global and ISC supply chain to create possibilities, find solutions, and plan/deliver improvement initiatives.
* Demonstrate authenticity, candour, and strong engagement in line with Diageo values.
* Produce clear and concise scheduled production plans to guarantee product availability on time and in full.
* Work in partnership with our Brewery to secure the accurate and efficient supply of Beer.
* Work with Procurement, Finance, and Suppliers to facilitate and reconcile invoices.
* Maintain relationships with stakeholders to deliver the Beer Category strategy.
* Lead inventory holding plans to control material stocks and avoid write-off costs.
* Oversee Global Supply Chain Projects and drive continuous improvement while balancing service, cost, and quality.
* Ensure transparent communication of forward plans across the supply chain.
* Deliver excellent Customer Service to all Global Markets.
Skills and Experience Required
* BSc in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent.
* APICS Qualified or equivalent.
* Several years of supply chain planning experience in FMCG is advantageous.
* Good knowledge of Demand and Supply Planning, Operations, Logistics, and Route to Market is desirable.
* Stakeholder management experience with a proven track record in planning.
* Excellent IT and numerical skills, particularly with SAP ECC6, SAP APO SNP, Business Warehouse, and BEX Analyser.
