The Best Connection are currently recruiting a Terminal Administrator to support a local business who are a logistics service provider specialists in the transportation of liquid chemicals, gases and dry bulk based in Redcar. This position will become permanent after a qualifying period.
The role Includes:
* Working closely with the onsite customer, being the focal point to liaise with the customer on updates and queries
* Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure high levels of service
* Ensuring customers SAP systems and internal systems are accurate and up to date including container movements and the status of orders, supporting operational excellence
* Ensuring deadlines are adhered to
* Distributing and planning the work orders from the customers to the operators teams
* produce monthly reports to enable the management of KPI's
* Dealing with drivers that come on site, dealing with relevant paperwork
The candidate:
* Experince working in a busy office based environment
* Background in customer service or logistics would be advantageous but not essential
* Be proficient in all Microsoft packages with a good working level in Excel
* Be able to work independently and problem solve, prioritising workload to meet deadlines
* Have quick and accurate data inputting skills
Hours of work:
* Monday to Friday
* 08:00am till 17:00pm
Pay Rates:
* £11.44 per hour
