Administration Officer (Medical Administration)

The opportunity
Our Melbourne clinic (St Kilda Road) is a refractive, cataract, and corneal specialist. We provide premium service to our patients, from the comfort of the clinic to the state-of-the-art technology used for our refractive procedures. The team of clinical and administration staff provides the highest quality service.
We have a full-time Administration Officer role available!
Your day-to-day will involve:
1. Manage patient appointments and liaise with other medical professionals.
2. End-to-end processing of medical records management, inbound/outbound queries, and patient appointments and surgical bookings.
3. Carry out financial tasks: banking, invoicing, accounts, debtors, and reconciliation.
4. Greet patients upon arrival, providing a high-end level of customer service.
5. Use the patient management system to capture relevant patient details and transmit correspondence.
6. Provide reception and general administration support to the Doctors, Nurses, Optometrists, and Practice Manager.
7. Assist with the smooth running of the day-to-day services of the clinic, including maintaining the professional appearance and cleanliness of the patient and work area.

4. Previous medical/healthcare industry experience.
