About the role
The Department of Home Affairs has critical responsibilities in relation to ensuring community safety in the Isle of Man. We aim to improve the quality of life for Island residents by providing effective services for their safety, protection and security. This role will lead and be responsible for the functions of the Executive Office, which is a small professional team at the centre of the Department and will play a critical role in keeping the Island’s community safe.
Your responsibilities will include providing strategic direction, leading the development of policy, ensuring the delivery our Legislative Programme and providing oversight to the monitoring of our Service Areas, improvement plans and projects across the Department. You will provide support to the Minister, Members, Chief Officer and Deputy Chief Officer to ensure the successful delivery of the functions of the Department.
