In partnership with a West Leeds Special school, we are looking for Teaching Assistants and SEND Support workers.
Who are we looking for?
A successful candidate would:
* Experience within Care/support work
* Worked with Children/Adults
* Education experience is desirable but not essential
What to Expect?
* The school caters for pupils aged 2 to 19 years, on different specialist and mainstream sites supporting a wide range of moderate learning difficulties; severe learning difficulties; complex & multiple needs; Asperger’s; Autism and Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs.
* Some students have physical, medial, speech & language, visual and hearing or sensory impairments.
* It is essential that the candidate has previous experience of working with Complex Communication Needs and Autism.
* The successful applicant will be supporting pupils with complex needs and autism so it is important that applicants have experience in a similar role and are comfortable working in this environment, the role will include some personal care.

* 2x references.
* A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to obtain one (we can assist with this part).
* Team teach Positive behaviour management certificate preferred but not essential.

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
