Childcare Apprenticeship - Level 3 - Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery
The Aspire Training Team are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship at the Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery at their Horsham setting.
Monkey Puzzle Horsham is a beautiful nursery setting offering outstanding childcare to Babies, Tweenies, Toddlers, and Preschoolers aged 3 months to 5 years old. Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Horsham, is proudly located in the heart of Horsham in the RH13 postal sector. The nursery is on the site of the old Roffey Youth Centre.

Marvin’s Deli – A real but miniature version of kitchen specially designed for children where they can learn about food & nutrition. In smaller groups, children will get a real experience of cooking and baking while learning about the impact of healthy eating in daily life
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
* To assist the Room Leader/Nursery Manager in supporting and encouraging each child's individuality as they explore their natural environment
* To plan a play-based curriculum around each child's needs and interests
* To be a key person to a small group of children.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
* Ensure appropriate planning and assessment is accurately maintained for key children
* Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is provided to all children, parents, staff and visitors
* Ensure that all children are kept safe.
* Always maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors.
* Develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and carers.
* Work as part of a team to ensure the company’s values are maintained.
* Attend monthly staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required.
* Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line manager
Hours;
* Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery is open from 7.30am – 18:00pm Monday to Friday.
* The successful candidate will be required to work 25-40 hours per week with shift patterns to be discussed.
Requirements;
* A Level 2 Childcare Qualification or equivalent is required
* You must be able to gain a clear DBS
* Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English Language, or equivalent
