Job summary Are you a dynamic, enthusiastic, experienced or newly qualified registered perioperative practitioner with anaesthetic skills or RN with anaesthetic skills looking to join a versatile theatre department team that covers Renal Transplantation, Hepato-Biliary Pancreatic Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Colorectal, Laparoscopic General Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology and Obstetrics. The team also provides an Acute Venous Access Lines Service for numerous inpatients requiring treatment in outlying areas within the Trust. We also provide acute anaesthetic cover for outside areas including Vascular X-ray, MRI, CT and Resus. If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust to join our busy 24 hour committed team providing patient care within the Acute and Obstetrics Theatres. The 24 hour service covers days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays, as well as a possible requirement of supporting other teams within the theatre suite, i.e. Liver Transplantation. Main duties of the job Duties and responsibilities: You will be required to provide exemplary patient care carrying out anaesthetic and scrub duties in a theatre setting.
