Our client has an opportunity for a Site Security Coordinator to join them on a contract basis until December 2025. As the Site Security Coordinator, you will work directly in support of the HO Site Security Filton and Filton Site Security Manager to enable the delivery of effective security advice, guidance and solutions in support of Filton delivery and operational objectives.
Role: Site Security Coordinator
Location: Filton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, 12-month contract
Hourly Rate: Up to £26.67 per hour Umbrella - inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS
What you'll be doing:
* Implementation of protective security activities, compliant with extant policies and frameworks requirements
* Assist in the management of Security Service Providers
* Assist with the management of Security Risks and Issues
* Assist with the Performance management visual management dashboards
* Assist with the implementation of Emergency Response
* Assist with providing appropriate security input into event and project planning and implementation
* Assist in adherence to Filton Safety rules
* You will audit and ensure the security suppliers are compliant with all contractual documentation
* You will bring your knowledge and experience to the team to help develop and improve our process and procedures
* Use of practical problem solving (PPS) methodology to identify faults/failures and required remedial actions for process improvement
* Coordinator for Filton security and safety investigations
Requirements:
* A demonstrable background in security management with commercial or industrial sector.
* Prince2, IOSH, NEBOSH or Operational Qualifications are all highly desirable
* Experience managing projects for 3rd party contractors is desired
* Understanding of security practices is required
* Demonstrable application of Security Risk Management Principles
* Complementary skills in risk management and emergency planning essential
* Experience in the use of Google suite, Microsoft
* Excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to analyse and assess complex issues
* Understanding of/or experiencing working with a security management team
