This role focuses on recruiting and stewarding participants, fostering meaningful relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring the event meets its fundraising targets while championing the mission of the St Vincent de Paul Society. Your work will encompass event logistics, participant engagement, ambassador collaboration, and volunteer management, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for all involved. By sharing the Society’s mission and fostering community connections, you will help inspire action and drive the event’s success. This role is a Part-time (15 hours per week), Fixed-term position until the 30 th of June. The ideal candidate will work 2 days per week, ideally onsite in our South Coast office. Skills And Experiences To be successful in the role, you will meet the following criteria: • Tertiary qualification in fundraising, events, marketing, communications or a related discipline. • 3 years working in a related role with a strong track record of successfully managing projects and meeting targets. • Experience working in the not-for-profit (NFP) sector, or a sound understanding of the NFP landscape. • Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society.
