Learning & Development Specialist (Part-Time)
Working with an established and growing professional services business in the Leeds area.
We are looking for a part-time Learning & Development Specialist to join their growing HR function. The L&D Specialist will be pivotal in enhancing workforce capability, driving employee engagement, and supporting organisational growth through effective learning initiatives.
This opportunity is fully L&D-focused, reporting to the Head of HR.
Exact part-time hours to be agreed with the successful candidate, ideally looking for someone 2-3 days a week. The role is hybrid.
Due to the office location, having your own transport is preferred but not necessarily essential (depending on your location).
* Part-time, permanent contract
* Salary FTE £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (will be prorated accordingly)
* 27 days holiday plus bank holidays (will be prorated accordingly)
* Up to 10% matched pension

Responsibilities:
* Identifying and assessing training needs (Training Needs Analysis)
* Design, develop, and implement engaging learning programmes, including workshops, e-learning modules, and blended learning solutions
* Partnering closely with department leaders and HR to ensure that learning strategies align with business objectives
* Facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions, adapting delivery style to engage a diverse audience effectively
* Coaching colleagues and managers on professional development topics, such as leadership, communication, and team building
* Managing the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring learning content is accessible and user-friendly
* Evaluating the effectiveness of training efforts via various methods
* Ensuring mandatory training is completed across the organisation and remains current
* Being the main point of contact for training enquiries
Requirements:
* Previous L&D experience is essential (at least 3 years)
* CIPD level 5 or L&D equivalent is desirable
* Previous experience in designing, creating, and delivering for a range of topics
* A proactive attitude and eagerness to support the business in providing an exceptional L&D function
* A keen eye for detail - ensuring all tasks are completed accurately
This is a part-time, permanent role based in the Leeds area (LS25) offering a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 FTE (experience dependent).
