Responsibilities:
1. Record accurately all admissions, transfers, and discharges on the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system in a timely fashion, to ensure patient flow and safety.
2. Use EPR to input, retrieve, and update patient records daily.
3. Deal with telephone enquiries and report any complaints/concerns/compliments to the Supervisors and Ward Manager.
4. Create, update, and maintain patient notes within the ward.
5. Arrange outpatient follow-up appointments by sending inpatient discharge summaries to the relevant department for patients using EPR, email, and/or post.
6. Carry out all administrative tasks efficiently whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
7. Undertake mandatory training as per trust policy.
8. Input accurate patient data onto EPR as required for compliance reports.
