HGI Heathrow are looking for a positive, proactive, people focused person to join our Brighthearted housekeeping team as an Assistant Head Housekeeper.
Description
At HGI Heathrow we are passionate about crafting, delivering, and creating memorable experiences. We are a 4* star 364-bedroom property with 10 versatile meeting spaces. We are located within an easily commutable distance from Heathrow Airport with good transport connections within walking distance, including Hatton Cross Tube and Bus Station.
Duties include:
* Provide support to the Head Housekeeper with the smooth running of the department ensuring our 364 bedrooms and public areas are clean and up to brand standards.
* Embrace digital systems and sustainable solutions to prepare schedules, rooms list and responding to guest feedback.
* Work closely and collaboratively with the Maintenance & Front Office departments.
* Coaching and supporting the team with training & development in areas of compliance such as Health & Safety, Fire Safety and COSHH.
* Participate in hotel wide initiatives and communications to ensure the whole team is informed about what is happening in the business.
* Keep and maintain an effective administration system for all compliance records.
Our ideal candidate:
* Enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly character
* Previous experience within a housekeeping supervisory or management role preferred.
* Possess a keen eye for details, ensuring standards are consistently met.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
* Proficient level of spoken and written English
* Willingness to learn new skills.
