About the role
We are looking for a Customer Strategy Executive to join our team, offering hybrid working with three days in the office and two days from home.
The key focus of this role is to manage our customer listening programme, providing actionable insights into customer sentiment and shopping behaviors to support business decisions and strategic initiatives supporting the Customer Strategy Manager.
You will be responsible for
* I carry out regular reporting of Customer Shopping Trip measures and customer sentiment to enable key stakeholders to drive action; weekly, periodically, quarterly and ad-hoc.
* I manage the day to day running of our third-party customer listening programme, working closely with the account team and Customer Strategy Manager to continually develop the programme.
* I provide ongoing engagement, support and onboarding for core and franchise stores with the customer listening programme.
* I create, collate, and compile varied sources of data and research and translate insight to inform key business decisions aligned to our business strategy from a customer and market perspective.
* I work on varied initiatives to support the enablement of our customer strategy; focusing on better understanding the needs of our strategic customer and how this translates into action across the business.
* I work closely with the wider insight teams and Customer Strategy Manager to proactively review business data and identify key trends
* Support the Customer Strategy Manager in the creation of proposition canvas’ to highlight customer and business opportunities, engaging a multifunctional work team that identifies customer pain points/ opportunities to improve the experience in store and takes the proposition canvas right through to concept
* Provide the customer input lens into reviews of new propositions, working closely with relevant teams e.g., Online, Digital, Product, Customer Team.
* Support the Customer Strategy Manager on adhoc business reporting and administration tasks
You will need
Technical Skills:
* Experience of developing and communicating a strategy across multiple channels
* Good analysis / numerical skills
* Strong stakeholder management skills
* Strategic thinking to develop clear plans
* Good time management, planning and organising skills
* Experience of the convenience retail sector
Qualifications:
* Degree level qualification in Business preferred but not essential
* Good written and verbal communication
* Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
