SERVICE ADVISOR
Location: Tipton
Salary: £30,000 pa plus £2,000 Bonus = £32,000
Hours: Monday to Friday Days
My client, a commercial vehicle dealership, is looking for a Service Advisor for their depot in Tipton.
Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the Depot Manager or Service Manager, the Service Advisor will be responsible for day-to-day customer service for the workshop. The list of duties is subject to change, and you may be required to carry out other duties due to business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Input and create work orders on the system
* Allocate work to fitters on a daily basis
* Greeting customers
* Ordering parts and linking to work orders
* Issuing purchase orders to suppliers
* Dealing with reported defects and arranging attendance for breakdown calls
* Goods receipt and closing purchase orders
* Inputting labour hours and descriptions of work
* Completing work orders and closing jobs
* Handling incoming telephone calls
* Arranging quotes for repairs
* Obtaining purchase orders for recharges
* General depot administration
* Obtaining and collating recharge information
* Planning service inspections and MOTs
* Workshop filing
* Controlling flow and process of all WIP
* Health and Safety compliance
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a commercial dealership or fleet/workshop environment, dealing with vehicle advising or vehicle maintenance planning.
