IT SUPPORT ENGINEER
LOCATION: EXETER / HYBRID WORKING - EXPECTED TO WORK IN EXETER 2 DAYS A WEEK
£25,999 - £30,000 PER ANNUM - DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
37.5 HOURS WEEKLY
We are the IT partners for our clients. If you’ve spent at least 2 years working for an IT helpdesk supporting users with M365 environments, have a look at this role!
We are seeking skilled IT Support Engineers who have already spent time working as part of an IT team and now want opportunities to expand their knowledge and expertise.
You will be part of our fantastic team who provide triage functions, take ownership of incidents and resolve issues within contracted SLA. You will be the first point of contact for clients contacting the Service Desk.
Your day-to-day role will comprise of providing remote and on-site support, representing us in a professional and helpful capacity.

All our IT Support Engineers are given the chance to learn and develop. You will be able to gain Microsoft and other industry certifications.
What Do I Need to Succeed?
Primarily, you will need to be able to demonstrate you have already been working in IT support.

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be expected to have the latest Microsoft desktop and server knowledge. An understanding of Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business will be an advantage.
You will need to have spent at least 2-years working on an IT support/service desk and be used to application support with at least 2-years working knowledge of supporting on-premise and 365 environments.
Demonstratable experience of setting up and managing Group Policies, confidence in administering Active Directory is required.
You will need to drive to client sites, therefore a driving licence and use of your own vehicle with business insurance is key.
If you have familiarity with server management tools, backups, DNS and networking it will be an advantage.
Certification
Have you got Microsoft certifications already? Great! Whilst practical experience is key, we will need you to learn and pass vendor exams. Everyone has an individual training plan. By the end of your probationary period, we would like you to attain certifications in line with yours.

Where and When Will I be Working?
We support our clients when they need it, so we ensure we are available from 8am to 6pm during the working week (Mon-Fri). We work a rota to ensure there’s sufficient people to cover this but try to be as flexible as possible.
Working hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week.
Location: We are hybrid working, giving you flexibility to work in the office and from home. This role requires you to work in the Exeter office 2 days a week plus additional client site work.
Internally this role is called Service Delivery Analyst. Other companies may call this role Technical Support Analyst, IT Support Analyst, IT Helpdesk Engineer, IT Support Technician
