To carry out desktop claims TPA bordereau adjusting, reconciliation and processing, for predominantly Lloyd’s based clients and/or as required Handling marine claims on the desktop claims management system, from first advice through to final settlement Work closely with the other members of the London Marine claims team and build a mutually supportive relationship Follow instructions/directions from the line manager. Actively seek out technical excellence Accurately input claims data into claims manager Work with the claims / VCS operations manager on individual daily RAG claims schedule Actively seek to develop oneself and take responsibility for your own training and development – personal development plan Seek out possible professional qualification opportunities Liaison with policyholders, insurers, brokers, claimants, solicitors and Crawford personnel in UK and overseas. Actively seek instructions for the UK marine survey team Actively seek instructions for the UK marine recoveries team Refer any growth opportunities or market intelligence to line manager Take and make telephone calls to brokers, claimants and clients for queries and claims updates Accurately record volumes and / or time and u pdate Prime fully as required. Qualifications Claims bordereau review, reconciliation and settlement experience London Market experience preferable Excellent customer service & communication skills. Flexibility and Team player. Prefer CertCII or above Experience Some knowledge of London Insurance market Claims adjusting / processing experience Claims bordereau handling and reconciliation experience Use of Market’s Electronic Claims file (ECF) system Client focused Team centric – working with colleagues throughout the business.
