Senior Finance Business Partner
Worcester based with a balance of home and office working
GBP 48,091: GBP 57,462 per year
35 hours per week : Monday to Friday : 9:00am to 5:00pm
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Affordable Housing Finance team based at our office in Worcester. This role will be managing and working with a dynamic and focused team and will include the preparation of management information, financial analysis, annual budgets and forecasts along with various reporting to key stakeholders. The role of Senior Finance Business Partner will include:

Completion of management month end reporting, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Affordable Housing capital spend. This will include (but not limited to) month end duties such as journal preparation, data analysis and reporting

Provide business partnering for capital performance across multiple stakeholders

Assisting with production of the annual Capital Budget and regular forecasting
:
Manage the financial oversight of large:scale capital programmes, including budget management, financial forecasting, reporting, and cost control

A mindset of continuous improvement identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies, process optimisation and the subsequent implementation of identified improvements
:
Experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to build relationships and communicate financial information to non:financial stakeholders.

Develop and present detailed financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity in financial performance and progress

Ensure that all capital programme and grant funding financial records are accurate, up:to:date, and compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulations

Providing line management support for 2 Finance Administrators
Skills and experiences:

Qualifications: ACCA / CIMA Qualified / Finalist

Experience of management accounting is essential, as well as experience of working with non:finance stakeholders

Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance requirements related to capital projects and funding, preferably within the housing sector

Experience working with housing association financial systems and capital project management tools
:
Experience of working with SAP is an advantage
