Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Assistant Management Accountant to support their Financial Controller with transactional processes required before the preparation of monthly accounts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, processing transactions for two entities within the organisation. Responsibilities
* Support the Financial Controller with transactional processes required before the preparation of monthly accounts
* Maintain cash book reconciliation and petty cash
* Process expenses and balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintain fixed asset register
* Support preparation for the year-end audit
* Process sales invoices and supplier invoices
The ideal candidate for this Assistant Management Accountant position brings strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, along with experience in financial accounting systems. Experience with finance databases would be advantageous but not essential. Previous experience in a similar role is crucial for this position as well as being part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or having equivalent experience.
This role would suit an Assistant Accountant with previous experience of the above who is looking for a commercial, fully autonomous role with fast track career progression.
