Whether they are children with special educational needs or disabilities going to school or older people getting to see their friends at a day centre, that is what we do in the Travelcare service. If you are caring and reliable this could be the role for you. In this role your duties include:- • Travel in a private hire vehicle or taxi to assist in the transporting of passengers in a safe, caring manner • Providing care duties associated with transport services. • Working as part of a team. • Ensuring that all communication issued by the service is followed and adhered to. • Completion of records as required. The working hours are typically 15 per week on split shifts generally between the hours of 07:00 – 09:30 and 14:30 – 17:00 however this may vary slightly depending on routes allocated. Successful candidates will be picked up and dropped off at their home address for each shift if they live in the West Lancs area. Candidates from outside West Lancs will need to travel to one of our centres in West Lancs for collection. We provide training for the right candidates.
