Job Specification
Internal Sales Engineer
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
1. Office-based role with weekly (or every other week) visits to customer sites to measure up the equipment siting area, gather information to help specification, produce a 2D drawing setting out obstacles and obstructions.
2. Preparing quotes and cost estimates for clients.
3. Specifying equipment solutions based on information provided by clients.
4. Contacting clients to discuss quotes and arranging onsite meetings.
5. Visiting customer sites to take measurements and reporting back to the design team.
Essential Requirements:
1. Engineering background.
2. Knowledge of equipment such as conveyors and general fabrications to integrate third party equipment.
3. Ability to create accurate quotations and cost estimates.
4. Strong technical skills.
5. Follow up on customer inquiries and process orders efficiently.
Desirable Experience:
1. Some 2D design experience for sales drawings.
2. Stability and longevity in previous roles.
3. Enthusiastic and dedicated to their work.
4. Driven to advance within the company.
Salary:
£50,000 - £60,000
