JOBDESCRIPTION:
* The Facilities Technician monitors andmaintains utilities and process equipment following standardprocedures requirements and safety policies. Follows welldefinedinstructions to maintain troubleshoot and repair utilities andprocess equipment while optimizing the utilization of ***facilities.
Job CoreResponsibilities
* Plans organizes andprioritizes work activities and duties in order to maintainfacilities
* Inspects repairs replaces servicesand maintains existing electromechanical
* Conducts electrial systems conduit runs including lightand power circuits motors control equipment light fixtures andpanels
* Understands and follows safetyprocedures maintenance instructions manuals blueprints electricalschematics and assembly diagrams
* Ensures thesafe usage and disposal of hazardous materials according to safetyprocedures and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
* Maintains necessary records/documents of workperformed
* Follows all safety policy andprocedures
* Other responsibilities asassigned
* Regular consistent and punctualattendance is required. May need to work nights and weekendsvariable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications
* Education : A Secondary Certificate/HighSchool Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education andwork experience that will allow successful performance of jobexpectations.
* Certifications : Vocationaltraining apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in relatedfield
* Years Experience : 2 years or more ofrelevant experience
Skills:
* Working knowledge ofelectromechanical and electrical systems
* Ability to recognize and solve typical problems fromestablished operating procedures and/or scientificmethods
* Experience in working within a teamenvironment and able to adapt to changes in workrequirements
* Excellent customer serviceskills
