Job overview
We are looking for someone to work in a busy, customer service based role that has excellent telephone, receptionist experience and communication skills to join our Administration team at Saint Mary’s Hospital, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
We work alongside the Midwives and Consultants to ensure patients receive the best care possible and we are looking for someone to bring a positive approach to our working environment.
Successful candidates must have excellent IT skills and experience working in a customer service or healthcare environment as you will be expected to use IT and communication equipment associated with call handling and data input. You should demonstrate high levels of personal commitment to facilitate the delivery of a patient focused service.
Flexibility is a must as there is an expectation to rotate across other MFT sites during times of annual leave and sickness.
Main duties of the job
You will need to work flexibly and apply a methodical approach to a varying workload. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team are essential.
A friendly and conscientious outlook is also required as is the ability to liaise with all levels of staff and patients.
* The service runs 08:00 until 18:00 Monday-Friday
* Shift patterns are within the above hours
Although this role is based at Oxford Road Campus, there is potential to cover all areas across the Managed Clinical Services (Oxford Road Campus/ Lance Burn Health Centre/Trafford General Hospital / Wythenshawe Hospital)
