Job Summary
As a NightPrint Room Operative at Apogee, you will play a crucial role in producing and completing all digital-format work according to our established processes and client specifications. Your responsibilities will include ensuring high-quality standards in printing, meticulous packaging, and timely delivery to meet contractual commitments effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting up and printing from digital formats.
* Efficient allocation of stock from the loading bay into production.
* Preprint document manipulation as required.
* Optimizing printer and equipment performance.
* Ensuring all printed work meets Apogee's quality standards.
* Communicating effectively with managers and clients when necessary.
* Maintaining clear and professional document presentation.
* Meeting deadlines with accuracy and reliability.
* Maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations (following 5S principles).
* Ensuring Quality Assurance of all completed print jobs.
* Identifying and reporting non-conformances, taking corrective actions as needed.
* Supporting the Shift Coordinator in process management reviews.
Working Pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 11pm-7am (30 mins lunch)

Experience and Skills Required:
* Previous experience in a print production or digital print environment.
* Working knowledge of digital printing hardware, including troubleshooting common issues.
* Ability to read and interpret job tickets, production reports, and technical specifications.
* Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Solid understanding of print finishing techniques such as cutting, binding, and laminating.
* Basic IT skills to manage digital files and printer settings.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
* Willingness to work as part of a team and support colleagues during busy periods.
