A bit about the role:
* You’ll be responsible for developing sales across a full portfolio of products and services. As a field-based, customer-facing role, you will cover a diverse range of accounts across various process industries, including aerospace, food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil, and gas.
* Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving growth within the region.
* You’ll work closely with representatives, distributors, and value-added resellers to meet financial goals outlined in the sales plan.
* There will be a strong emphasis on understanding customer needs, promoting products and services, and taking a leadership role in major customer agreements.
What We're Looking For
* Ideally, you will have an engineering background with exposure to electrical engineering.
* You should have a solid understanding of process instrumentation and calibration, along with how these systems function within production environments.
* Experience selling into process industries, specifically control instrumentation and automation products, is essential. Knowledge of measurement techniques and communication protocols is important.
* As the role is fully field-based, a full driving licence is required.
* Familiarity with products related to automation, instrumentation, or calibration would be beneficial.
* Previous experience in selling calibration, inspection services, or similar services is an advantage.
* NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent qualifications will be an advantage
