Visitor Information Centre Assistant
Permanent, 16 hours per week
Salary NS4 £24,404-£24,790 per annum, pro rata
Do you want to help people enhance their lives through history, culture and the arts, in a customer facing role?
As a Visitor Information Centre Assistant, you will have visitor service at the heart of every task you perform. You will have experience of engaging with the public and gauging their individual needs whilst delivering business objectives and driving income levels through sales.
Based at The Palace Theatre & National Civil War Centre, you will have experience of sales/telesales/cash handling/computerised till systems and administration duties using Microsoft packages, and of dealing with the public. You will be a self-motivated team player with the ambition, energy and enthusiasm for delivering our service objectives.
You will work flexibly, including frequent early evenings and weekends on a rota basis. Essential qualifications are 5 GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths or a good standard of education.
