OCU Nettworx (Part of the wider OCU Group)are currently looking for a Junior Project Manager to join theirteam in Newbury.
As a Junior Project Manager youwill play a key role in supporting the planning execution anddelivery of projects within our organisation. You will work closelywith senior project management staff to assist in coordinatingproject activities tracking progress and ensuring that projects arecompleted on time within budget and to the required qualitystandards.
Duties andResponsibilities:
ProjectPlanning: Assist in the development of project plansschedules and budgets in collaboration with senior projectmanagement staff and key stakeholders to define project scopeobjectives deliverables andtimelines.
ResourceManagement: Coordinate the allocation andutilisation of project resources including personnel equipment andmaterials to ensure that project activities are adequatelyresourced and aligned with project requirements andpriorities.
StakeholderCommunication: Serve as a point of contact forproject stakeholders both internal and external and facilitatecommunication and collaboration among project team members clientsvendors and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goalsand expectations.
RiskManagement: Assist in identifying assessing andmitigating project risks and issues and developing risk mitigationstrategies and contingency plans to minimise the impact ofpotential disruptions or delays on projectdelivery.
Project Monitoring andControl: Monitor project progress againstestablished plans budgets and milestones and track key performanceindicators (KPIs) to identify variances trends and areas forimprovement and take corrective actions as needed to keep projectson track.
Documentation andReporting: Maintain accurate and uptodate projectdocumentation including project plans status reports meetingminutes and other projectrelated documentation and prepare regularreports and updates for project stakeholders andmanagement.
QualityAssurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet therequired quality standards and specifications and conduct regularreviews and inspections to verify compliance with projectrequirements and clientexpectations.
LessonsLearned: Participate in project postmortems andlessons learned sessions to capture feedback identify bestpractices and areas for improvement and apply insights to futureprojects to enhance project management processes andoutcomes.
Skills andExperience:
* Bachelorsdegree or equivalent qualification in project management businessadministration engineering or a relatedfield.
* Previous experience in a projectmanagement role such as project coordinator assistant projectmanager or project support officer is advantageous but notessential.
* Strong organisational analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to manage multiple projectsconcurrently and prioritise taskseffectively.
* Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in ateam environment and interact professionally with stakeholders atall levels.
* Proficiency in project managementsoftware and tools such as Microsoft Project Primavera P6 or Asanaand Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word ExcelPowerPoint).
