Key Responsibilities:
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant in Newham, you will:
Morning Support: Provide tailored support to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including ADHD and self-harming behaviors.
Inclusive Learning: Use your skills to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students.
Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions.
Afternoon Flexibility: Offer crucial assistance across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to the needs of different age groups.
Positive Relationships: Foster strong relationships with students, promoting their holistic development.

Early Years Teaching Assistant Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Nappy Changing: Must be experience with Nappy Changing
Proactivity and Resilience: A proactive, resilient individual who can uphold high standards and bring out the best in pupils.
Expertise: Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
Versatility: Ability to support with nappy changing and cater to individual special educational needs.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
