Adult & Family Learning team - ESOL Tutors

Salary: £23.49 per hour
Hours: (Casual contract) 0-10 hours
We are looking to recruit experienced sessional ESOL tutors to join our tutor pool. We offer non-certificated ESOL classes in community settings all around Edinburgh. All candidates should a CELTA qualification / Trinity cert ESOL. Previous experience of teaching is essential to this position.
The role involves delivering high quality teaching and learning, feedback to students, monitoring of student progress, student achievement and all associated administration tasks.
Classes are delivered in the daytime. The duration of each English class is typically 2 hours, classes are delivered 32 weeks per year. This is not supply work, contracts are offered on a termly basis in the first instance.
Candidates will be also be asked to deliver a short 5 minute presentation on a topic of your choice. We are aiming to conduct interviews on Friday 4th April, this will be in the morning & afternoon.
