Apply now to take the next step in your career Job Description: Lead, inspire, and support your team to meet business objectives while maintaining high work standards in line with company policies. Establish a structured, process-driven work environment, minimizing variation to improve efficiency and consistency. Effectively communicate and implement company policies, procedures, and best practices across the team. Promote a strong Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) culture, ensuring best practices are followed. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance workflow and performance. Facilitate and lead daily SQCDP meetings, driving team engagement and accountability. Take a proactive approach to managing attendance and performance, addressing any concerns swiftly. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, quality standards, and site performance requirements. Investigate and report incidents or accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Provide coaching and feedback, setting clear expectations to support team development and performance improvement. Identify underperformance and implement structured improvement plans where necessary. Oversee training and development, ensuring all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge. Identify, contain, and resolve production issues, implementing corrective measures to maintain efficiency. Drive and monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), working to improve operational output. Ensure smooth shift handovers with clear documentation of key issues and actions. Maintain 5S workplace organization standards to support a safe and efficient working environment. Oversee quality checks, including first and last-off inspections, in-process checks, SPC data, and documentation completion. Collaborate with production engineers to refine jig and fixture designs, optimizing manufacturing processes. Review and adjust work lists as needed to align with daily production requirements. Promote and maintain high quality standards, ensuring best practices are followed at all times. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring identified opportunities for enhancement are actioned. Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges, ensuring the best possible manufacturing outcomes. Analyze data to pinpoint problem areas and implement effective solutions. Maintain a strong commitment to safe working practices in line with business and regulatory requirements. Skills & Experience: Experience within Production Supervisor or Production Management roles CNC experience or Leading CNC teams (very desirable) Able to read Engineering Drawings NEBOSH or Six Sigma Qualifications (desirable not esstential) Why Should You Apply?
